Majorette Medals
Donated by Natasha Collins
Part of a collection of Majorette medals won ‘back in the day’ by Natasha Collins, a local resident and member of staff in the Pennywell All Care Centre. These medals (along with a string of cups and trophies) were won by Natasha when she was a star member of the Pilton Sporting Club Majorettes. The Majorettes were an extremely popular club for young women in the area through the 1970’s and 80’s. They rehearsed twice a week at St David's Primary School and Craigroyston High School, and were regular performers at the annual Muirhouse gala and other community events.
