These 1980’s Toy Daleks were donated by Bruce a local toy collector, model maker and expert in memorabilia and nostalgia.  For most people who grew up in the UK over the last 50 years these will require no introduction, for many they will conjure up some of the earliest memories of being terrified by the power of television, the crackly voices being enough to cause retreat to the back of the sofa…‘we will exterminate, exterminate’.

For those few unfamiliar or too young to know the Doctor Who website explains; The Daleks are one of the most feared races in the universe.  Their creator, Davros, only has one intention, destroying all life apart from Dalek life.  The Doctor has stopped them on several occasions but somehow they just keep coming back!
