Red Glove

Found by Artist

Found by the artist on the door of the Arcadeum studio one morning it was unclear whether this was a donation in response to the People’s Museum Donations Poster or just a good Samaritan finding a spot to hang a lost soggy glove?

(A third possibility is that ‘the donor’ knew the artist has a thing for lost gloves and has a collection of over a thousand of them).

Like a signature or fingerprint the lonely glove holds an identity and seems to project something human and intimate.

Maybe it was you who lost it or donated it?
